The Small Business Administration has changed its process to enable small businesses and non-profits to apply for BOTH the SBA Loan program and the Payroll Protection Program. Do whatever you can to request financing to secure your business and the pay for your employees.

Q: Am I eligible for unemployment benefits if I am self-employed?
A: You are eligible to file a claim regardless of your status provided you’re out of work due to COVID-19.
Q: If my hours are reduced, am I eligible for unemployment benefits?
A: If you are working with reduced hours, you may be eligible for reduced Unemployment Benefits. If you are still earning more than $469.00 gross earnings per week, you will not be eligible.
Q: How do I get a weekly Unemployment Benefit Payment?
A: You must go online and answer a series of questions; payment weeks begin on Sunday and end on the following Saturday. For step-by-step instructions, watch: filing tutorial videos on YouTube.
Q: Do I still have to search for work during the COVID-19 crisis?
A: No. An executive order by Governor Sisolak waives all work search requirements for those currently filing for Unemployment Insurance Benefits.
Q: How do I know if there is money on my Unemployment Benefits debit card?
A: Check your balance and transaction record 24/7 by visiting:www.bankofamerica.com/nevadauidebitcard. You can see details of purchased locations, dates, and amounts.
