We have all heard the word “unprecedented” an ironically unprecedented amount of times in the last several months. And no matter how hard we endeavor to get back to “normal”, the times we are living in are likely to change how we view certain things forever. I for one will never look at a roll of toilet paper or a box of pasta the same way again.
One of the things that has drastically changed is our view of sanitation. Especially now are we looking to find effective ways to protect our homes and businesses from the viral threats that have so dramatically changed the way we go about our daily activities. We care about our employees and customers and want to make sure that we have done everything we can to ensure everyone’s safety. Fast Company is happy to announce that we are offering a new product to help you accomplish this goal!
We looked at a number of sanitizing products to try to find something that would actually work on viruses and that would be cost-effective for our customers. After investigating these different products, we found PurTeq. PurTeq is a powerful, high-tech cleaning product that we thought was too good to be true until we did the research and tried it out for ourselves. Keep reading if you want to know how it works and why it’s better than bleach and alcohol-based products.
How does it work?
PurTeq fights harmful bacteria and viruses using green, eco-friendly technology. It’s a water-based solution that is safe, biodegradable, non-toxic, and non-allergenic.
PurTeq is aerosolized and applied thoroughly to every surface in the target area, including hard to reach spots. The treatment is applied quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
Once it’s applied it forms an invisible, long-lasting coating that protects the surface from bacteria, molds, germs, and other allergens. These contaminants are destroyed immediately upon contact.
You can rest assured that the surfaces continue to self-sanitize and are protected for 90-days after treatment.
PurTeq is effective against viruses (such as COVID-19), bacteria, mold, and other allergens.
Why not just use bleach or alcohol-based products?
The majority of people are using bleach or alcohol-based cleaners to sanitize surfaces. I’m not going to lie, these products generally do a great job of killing germs. But they come with several downsides.
It’s very difficult to clean every surface with Bleach or alcohol-based products. Either it’s not effective or it causes damage due to the harsh chemicals.
Once sanitized, a surface can immediately begin collecting germs again. The surface is only considered germ-free for a short window after cleaning.
They can release toxic fumes that can be harmful and contact with skin can cause irritation.
Most of these products are effective against COVID-19, but can you trust they will keep you safe in the long-run?
